TheHopeLine is a online faith-based live chat service for young people in crisis. We operate 24/7 offering them sound advice and a safe place to connect. Our trained Hope Coaches engage students and young adults in life-changing conversations from 8 different times zones around the world. Our proprietary interaction model is called LEAP ... Listen, Encourage, Advise, Plan & Pray ... has been used in over one million live chat conversations and provides the framework for engaging in any issue. Our website has rich resources on 52 specific issues. We have vetted partners to whom we refer young people for follow-up. Our Coaches receive regular training updates and have suicide intervention certification. We use state of the art technology to allow every conversation to be as natural and seamless as possible. In 2025 we engaged in 32,000 live chat conversations. Our vision it to grow that annual number by a factor of ten in the years to come.
